"Terminator Genisys" hasn't hit theaters yet, but Paramount has already mapped two sequels for the reboot and locked release dates for them. According to The Hollywood Reporter, both are expected to be filmed back to back with the first sequel dated for May 19, 2017 and the second slated for June 29, 2018.

The revamped franchise will kick off with "Genisys" on July 1, 2015. Alan Taylor ("Thor: The Dark World") serves behind the lens, Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as the titular robot, Emilia Clarke assumes the role of Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke plays John Connor, and Jai Courtney portrays Kyle Reese.

Paramount also secures a date for Rubert Wyatt's crime drama "The Gambler" starring Mark Wahlberg. The remake of the 1974 film of the same name will get a limited release on December 19 this year before going nationwide on January 1 next year. Brie Larson, Michael K. Williams, and Jessica Lange join the cast ensemble.
