AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande helped kick off the NFL season on Thursday, September 4. The singer performed a stunning rendition of the national anthem before the game between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers at the CenturyLink Stadium in Seattle, Washington.
Trading her cute tiny dress for a Seahawks jersey and a pair of jeans, Grande amazed the crowd as well as the players of both teams as she belted out "The Star-Spangled Banner" in the middle of the field and hit the high notes effortlessly.
Via their Twitter account, Seahawks thanked Grande for her performance. "@ArianaGrande Your rendition got the best of us. At least the improtant one of us got it right," they said after previously mixing up Francis Scott Key's words in a now-deleted tweet that read, "The home of the free. And the land of the brave."
Grande's performance came just a day after her newest album, "My Everyting", made its debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200. Opening with 169,000 copies, it becomes her second LP to top the chart in less than a year.
