Whitney passed away at the age of 48 at a Beverly Hills hotel. The Grammy winner was found drowning in a bath hours before she was due to attend Clive Davis' pre-grammy party. Cocaine was found in her system. The hugely successful singer had long struggled with substance abuse.

Following the death of the singer, family members were concerned that Whitney's struggling daughter was also heading toward a life of addiction. Rumors circulated that Bobbi was going for a rehab.
