Spencer wants to cut the cord with Ali as Emily worries that Ali will throw her and the other girls under the bus.

The girls realize Ali is a big problem for them. In the next episode of "Pretty Little Liars", the pressure is on for Alison to identify the man police have in custody for her kidnapping, but the Liars know if she does it would be sending an innocent man to prison and possibly walking right into an "A" trap.
With Emily trying to convince Ali not to play into "A's" hand because it will put them at risk, Spencer comes up with a plan B in case Ali decides to make the wrong decision. Spencer suggests that they cut the cord with Ali or else she may throw the other girls under the bus.
Meanwhile, fed up with all of the Ali drama, Hanna tries to lead a "normal" teenage life.
"A Dark Ali" will air Tuesday, August 12 at 8/7c on ABC Family. It will be followed by another new episode before the show airs the summer finale in late this month and then takes a four-month hiatus.
