Michael Egan, a man who previously accused Bryan Singer of sex abuse, has been served with malicious prosecution lawsuit. Garth Ancier, one of the defendants in Michael's sex abuse lawsuit, filed a malicious prosecution lawsuit against Michael and his attorney, Jeff Herman.

On August 1, sources claimed Garth wrote on Facebook that Michael had been avoiding process servers and private investigators for five weeks. Garth also said that Michael was finally found in "an obscure Las Vegas casino" on Friday. At the same time and place, Michael was also being served.

Another person who also became a defendant in Garth's lawsuit was Michael's Hawaii lawyer, Mark Gallagher.

Previous report said that Michael lost his attorney after backing out from settlement with Bryan. Jeff said in an emailed statement last week, "We are in the process of withdrawing from representing Mr. Egan in all his cases and have no further comment concerning his matters at this time."

Michael was reportedly offered $100,000 if he agreed to drop the case. He then changed his mind, saying, "This exact kind of take-it-and-shut-up deal is why I decided to stand up in the first place." Jeff, who wanted to settle the case, then withdrew from the case.
