Vin Diesel showed off his singing ability when he recently visited U.K.'s Capital FM to promote his new film "Guardians of the Galaxy". The actor, who voices Groot in the forthcoming Marvel flick, performed a cover of Sam Smith's hit single "Stay With Me" and it's just hilarious.

Holding a microphone and reading the song's lyrics from a laptop, Diesel sang the first lines of the song in his lower register before suddenly hitting the high notes. Smith has reacted to Diesel's version of "Stay With Me", taking to Twitter to share his excitement.

"Vin Diesel just covered Stay With Me. Surreal. Thanks man haha," he wrote earlier this week. The 22-year-old British sensation commented further in an interview with Capital Breakfast on Thursday, July 31.

"First of all I thought it was going to be good, but when I heard it it's the most hilarious thing I've heard in my life," he said. "It's amazing. It's brilliant. The falsetto and the chest voice is unreal."

"It's so weird for me because I remember watching 'XXX' when I was like 11 years old," he added. "I definitely think we should do a duet one day, it would be amazing."
