AceShowbiz - New footage from "Sleepy Hollow" season 2 was unleashed at the San Diego Comic-Con. One of the clips which is obtained by Entertainment Weekly features Ichabod and Abbie using a skull and some incantations to summon a new powerful demon to fight the horseman.
The other video which has landed online via The Hollywood Reporter shows the comedic side of the show. In it, Ichabod and Abbie stop by a bank as they investigate a case. When a banker offers him a deal on a credit card, Ichabod scolds him, "These people entrust you with their fortune, yet you cannot entrust them with a simple inkwell?" referring to a pen attached to a desk.
During a discussion about the upcoming season, Nicole Beharie promised fans would learn the secrets about her character's family. "She learns why she is a witness," the Abbie depicter said. "At the end of a season Ichabod betrayed Abbie in a way by drawing a map. Now they have a little of patching up to do."
As for Henry Parrish who was revealed to be the second Horseman as well as Ichabod and Katrina's son Jeremy, he is moving beyond revenge in season two. "He becomes sort of a really interesting malevolent character. He's had his revenge. He doesn't need that anymore," said actor John Noble. "He becomes the personification of evil and becomes a powerful man in the township. He plants seeds of doubt in everyone."
Executive producer Mark Goffman, meanwhile, revealed the big theme of the sophomore season, "Deep seeded into this season is family, hope and redemption, all within the context of war."
