"Teen Wolf" will return for a fifth season on MTV. The announcement was made by executive producer Jeff Davis at the show's Thursday, July 24 panel at San Diego Comic Con, during which some exclusive artworks were also handed out.

The supernatural thriller was renewed for two-part 20-episode run, eight more episodes than the current season 4 order. Along with the renewal, Dylan Sprayberry, who plays Liam starting early in the current season, has been promoted to series regular in season 5.

Those attending the panel at Ballroom 20 were treated with the midseason trailer. Per Entertainment Weekly, Davis answered the question whether anyone was killed off at the remainder of the season. He said the fourth season would end with "a lot of decision making, a lot of character arcs coming to a finish," and the fruition of Peter Hale's plan.

MTV also gave away three posters from Bestiary, the handbook the demon-fighting Argent Family refers to while fighting to keep order in Beacon Hills. Drawn by New York-based artist Swann Smith, they show the anatomical and behavioral secrets of werewolves, kanimas and oni. The cast will do signing at the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment booth, which distributes "Teen Wolf" on DVD, on Friday from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

The next episode of "Teen Wolf" airs on Monday, July 28 at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT.
