Amy Ryan lands a leading lady role in Steven Spielberg's untitled Cold War movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will play Tom Hanks' on-screen wife. Meanwhile, The Wrap reports Bono's daughter Eve Hewson is in talks to play his on-screen daughter.

Hanks plays James Donovan, an American attorney enlisted by CIA during the Cold War to negotiate the release of a pilot who was captured after his U-2 spy plane was shot down over Russia. Alan Alda and Billy Magnussen are also in negotiations for the historical movie which is also supported by Mark Rylance.

The project will begin production in September and will be filmed on location in New York and Berlin. Coen Brothers are rewriting the script by Matt Charman. It will be released in the U.S. on October 16, 2015.
