Drew Van Acker is back reprising his role as Alison's brother as she returns to Rosewood in the second episode of the new season.

AceShowbiz - The DiLaurentis family will reunite in the upcoming season 5 of "Pretty Little Liars". Following the disappearance of his mother, Jason will make appearance in the second episode slated to air June 17. In some newly-released pictures from the said outing, Jason (Drew Van Acker) has a conversation with his sister Alison, who is back in Rosewood for the first time since revealing to the world that she's alive.
According to executive producer Marlene King, Alison's father will try to take her away from Rosewood, leaving her torn between staying there or starting a new chapter somewhere else. "Do I really want to stay here? Should I make a clean break? That's all part of her journey," King told TVLine.
Some other pictures from the second episode show the girls, including Alison, meeting Detective Holbrook who remains suspicious of the girls' involvement in all those recent cases.
ABC Family has also shared two clips from the season opener "EscApe from New York", which is set to air Tuesday, June 10 at 8 P.M. ET/PT. The first clip shows the girls discussing their next move to protect Ali after Ezra got shot. The second one sees Ali encountering a hooded man on the street before she runs away from him.
According to the official synopsis for the first episode, "Moments after where the season four finale left off, Aria and the Liars are reeling from Ezra's shooting at the hands of 'A.' The five girls quickly realize that as the one person who truly knows 'A's' identity, Ezra is in grave danger. While Aria stands watch over Ezra at the hospital, Alison and the PLLs lay a trap to finally flush out 'A' but are shocked by who is ensnared."
"Meanwhile, Holbrook steps up his efforts to find the girls and puts the Hastings family on alert. And as news of Alison's resurrection spreads, Mona is not pleased."
