AceShowbiz - Lucasfilm may have revealed what Chewbacca will look like in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode 7". A photo featuring the character was shared on the official Star Wars Instagram while fans were celebrating the Star Wars Day on Sunday, May 4.

Chewbacca is seen posing next to Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger. The picture came along with a caption that read, "Chairman's new co-pilot. #StarWarsDay." Fans speculated that the man in the Chewbacca costume was Peter Mayhew, who played the character in the previous installments of the film.

Mayhew isn't the only actor who will return for the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode 7", which will begin filming later this month in London. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker are all set to reprise their respective role.

They will be joined by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow. J.J. Abrams is on board to direct the project based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.
