Luke Bryan, Imagine Dragons Announced as Performers at 2014 Billboard Music Awards

The country crooner and the rock band are going to be joined by John Legend and OneRepublic as well as previously-announced performer Jason Derulo at the annual awards show.

AceShowbiz - Some big names have been announced as the performers at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. Luke Bryan, Imagine Dragons, John Legend and OneRepublic are all set to take the stage at the upcoming event, joining previously-announced performer Jason Derulo.

This year, Bryan is nominated in six categories that include Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Country Album. He also has his two songs "Crash My Party" and "That's My Kind of Night" nominated in the same category, Top Country Song.

Meanwhile, Imagine Dragons is one of the biggest nominees at the annual awards show as they bag 12 nods. They're up for various awards including Top Artist, Top Duo/Group, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Album. Additionally, their hit singles "Demons" and "Radioactive" are pitted against each other in Top Rock Song category.

Legend, who's still having a big success with his single "All of Me", is currently up for the fan-voted Milestone Award. As for OneRepublic, the Ryan Tedder-fronted band is in contention for the Top Duo/Group award and the Top Digital Song award for their "Counting Stars".

The 2014 Billboard Music Awards is set to be broadcast live on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 18 at 08:00 P.M. ET. Fans can visit the shows' official website to view the full nominations list.
