AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus hit the stage of "MTV Unplugged", which aired on the network on Wednesday, January 29. The country-inspired concert opened with the former Disney star appearing onstage in a red and white gingham jumpsuit and a blonde wig to perform "4X4".
"I tried to bring Nashville here for the night," she said and performed the song with an exaggerated twang. During her performance, she was joined onstage by a full band, backing vocalists, a little dancer and a horse she eventually twerked on while sticking out her tongue.
She also performed other tracks like "Do My Thang" and "#Getitright" before trading her jumpsuit for denim bikini, baggy jeans and a matching jacket. She then performed more songs including "Wrecking Ball", "Rooting for My Baby", "Drive" and "Adore You".
The show closed out with Cyrus bringing out Madonna for a mashup of their songs "Don't Tell Me" and "We Can't Stop". Cyrus and Madonna, who donned a black cowgirl outfit, showcased some raunchy moves and grinded on each other during the performance.
"A lot of what she represented for me is a lot of what I try to represent to girls now," Cyrus said of Madonna. "Not being afraid of sexuality, and really being who you want to be and doing what you want to do... 'Don't Tell Me' is basically the same message as what I'm telling my fans in 'We Can't Stop'."
On "MTV Unplugged", which was taped on Tuesday, January 28 at Hollywood's Sunset Gower Studios, Cyrus played some songs lifted from her latest chart-topping album "Bangerz" as well as from her previous releases.
