A former child singer named Ricky Spicer is suing Kanye West, the New York Daily News reports. The 56-year-old man claims that his voice has been featured in the rapper's "Bound 2" without permission.

Spicer was a member of the '60s group The Ponderosa Twins Plus One. He said that he recorded the lyrics sampled in "Bound 2" when he was 12. He admitted to being "stunned" when hearing his voice in West's song earlier this year.

Spicer filed the lawsuit on Monday, December 22 in Manhattan Supreme Court. "Mr. Spicer's voice is sampled exactly as he recorded it and his voice ... is heard several times," stated the suit which also requested that West compensates Spicer for the sample or cease and desist.

In addition to West, the suit names recording labels Island Def-Jam Music, Rhino Entertainment, Roc-A-Fella Records and Universal Music Group as defendants.

"Bound 2" is included in West's chart-topping album, "Yeezus". The track's music video sees Kim Kardashian going topless while straddling her rapper fiance.
