Invited by Karl Lagerfeld, the 'Twilight' star attended the fashion event in a stylish Chanel ensemble.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Stewart has been named the new face of Chanel's 2013-2014 Metiers d'Art Paris-Dallas collection campaign. It was announced on Tuesday, December 10 when the actress joined good friend Karl Lagerfeld for the Metiers d'Art "Paris-Dallas" fashion show at Dallas Fair Park.

When Stewart boarded a plane in Van Nuys, California earlier this week, rumors swirled that she went to London to see ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Turns out, she was attending the fashion event on Lagerfeld's invitation. "Kristen is a huge fan of Mr. Lagerfeld and was honored to be invited to such an extraordinary fashion event. She loves his style and quirky sense of humor. He gets her and she loves him for that," a friend of Stewart told HollywoodLife.com.

As a start, Stewart pulled from the 2014 catalog of Chanel's Spring 2014 collection for her look. She attended the event in a gray crop top, a dark gray sweater tied around her waist, apricot pants, and nude heels. She finished her look with smoky eyes and hair done to one side.

Beside Chanel, Stewart is also the face of Balenciaga's new fragrance Florabotanica. "Luckily I like the smell of the fragrance," the 23-year-old said in a Q&A on BalenciagaFragrance.com. "So I don't have to lie about that, and that's great."
