Zoe Saldana finally opens up about her marriage to Italian artist Marco Perego a few months after the ceremony. Saldana confirmed the wedding during a Tuesday, December 3 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".

"Congratulations! You got married since the last time I saw you," the show's host Jimmy Kimmel said, referring to Saldana's last appearance on the show on May 8. "I did. Thank you, thank you. And congratulations to you, too. You got married," the "Out of the Furnace" star replied.

Kimmel, who married Molly McNearney in July, said, "Thank you. It's not a competition, though. We don't need to just go around getting married." When the actress asked, "Where did you get married?" Kimmel answered, "I got married in Ojai, which is about an hour away from here. It's in the desert. And you?"

Saldana answered with a huge smile, "I got married in England. I did it in England. Can you top that?" After Kimmel said, "No," she quipped, "So it is a competition, I guess."

Saldana was seen kissing Perego at a "Star Trek Into Darkness" afterparty in May. In September, a report suggesting that the pair got married in a secret ceremony in London in June emerged. "It was super small but very romantic and beautiful," a source told Us Weekly of the nuptials at that time. Another source said that the couple had "known each other for a long time," while another friend added, "They have great chemistry." A source explained, "Zoe's thrilled to have someone she can enjoy life with!"
