The 'Since U Been Gone' singer announces on Twitter that she is pregnant with her first child, calling the baby news 'best early Christmas present ever.'

AceShowbiz - Good news comes from Kelly Clarkson. The "American Idol" alum is now expecting her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock. Kelly happily shared the news on Twitter on Tuesday, November 19. She wrote, "I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)."
Kelly and Brandon got married October 20 at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tenn. The baby will be Brandon's third child. He is already a father to two children, Savannah and Seth, from his previous relationship.
Following the wedding, Kelly revealed in an interview with Valentine in the Morning on 104.3 MY FM that she wanted to get pregnant soon. "I want babies! Everybody keeps saying, 'What do you want for Christmas?' And I'm like, 'I want to be pregnant.' " In addition to Savannah and Seth, Kelly wanted to have two more children, saying, "I kind of want to have two around the same age."
"I honestly never ever used to want to want kids because I'm kind of selfish with my career, but going to soccer games with Seth and doing homework with Savannah - I just really love it y'all. It's so cool. It sounds so cheesy but it's such a bigger point to life. I really lucked out with the whole kid situation. They're amazing," she continued.
Stopping by "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on November 11, Kelly admitted that she and Brandon were trying hard to get pregnant. "[We want a baby] like now! Practice makes perfect!" she jokingly said, adding, "We're trying, trying, trying ... like rabbits!"
