Stefan is determined to kill Silas with his own hand, and someone wants a doppelganger's blood.

When "The Vampire Diaries" returns next week, Stefan will fully regain all of his memories. He declares that Silas must die and he has to be the one who kills Silas. The younger Salvatore is seemingly filled with rage as he's unconsciously crushing a glass.
Meanwhile, someone wants a doppelganger's blood and since Damon is surrounded with a lot of them, it shouldn't be a problem to get the blood. Elena and Damon also try to explain Amara's situation to Stefan, who later makes a heartbreaking confession to Damon and Elena.
As Silas fails to keep a promise, Damon turns to Tessa (guest star Janina Gavankar) for help with his new plan and Elena is shocked when Bonnie makes a physical contact with her. After a surprising conversation with Amara, Jeremy and Bonnie share a glimmer of hope.
Also in "Death and the Maiden", Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) gives Katherine some deeply disturbing news, and Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) shows up at Caroline's dorm room, searching for Katherine. The episode will air Thursday, November 14 at 8/7c on The CW.
