One day after a report of her marriage emerged on October 17, Kristen Bell confirmed that she and her longtime boyfriend Dax Shepard had tied the knot. The "Veronica Mars" actress called herself a "wife" in a Twitter message to the "Parenthood" star. "Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :)," she wrote.

Kristen and Dax, who are parents to 6-month-old daughter Lincoln, got engaged in 2009. The two, however, decided to delay their nuptials until the ban on gay marriage was lifted. Shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Defense of Marriage Act was unconstitutional, Kristen proposed to Dax via Twitter.

"@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove," she wrote in June. "They have been engaged for 2 1/2 years and have been waiting for this day so they can officially wed. They are beyond thrilled for their friends in the gay community," a representative said back then.

According to a TMZ report, Kristen and Dax tied the knot in a "no-frills" ceremony which was held at the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office. The couple was there to get their marriage license when a court employee suggested that they got married in a nearby courtroom. The pair agreed to do it. A source noted that Kristen cried during the ceremony.
