AceShowbiz - Pop star Katy Perry and comedian Will Ferrell lead this year's performers for the annual MTV Europe Music Awards to be held on November 10 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Perry is set to perform her new song "Unconditionally" off her forthcoming album "Prism", while Ferrell will appear throughout the awards show as his fictional news anchor character Ron Burgundy.

"I'm so excited to return to the EMA stage! I have tailor-made a performance of a brand new song from PRISM to share with fans from around the world on Nov. 10," Perry says in a press release. The 28-year-old singer also bags two nominations at the 2013 EMAs, one of which is for best female artist.

Meanwhile, funnyman Ferrell will be putting on Burgundy's mustache as he reports from various landmarks within the Dutch capital. It will be a great way to promote his forthcoming comedy flick "Anchorman: The Legend Continues". The sequel to his 2004 hit movie "Anchorman" is slated for release this December.

Over at the nominees, leading the list this year are Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with six nominations each, going head-to-head in the Best U.S. Act award category. Trailing them with four nods apiece are "Blurred Lines" crooner Robin Thicke, controversial female artists Miley Cyrus and Lady GaGa, and heavy fan-favorite Justin Bieber.
