Will Arnett is a plotting squirrel in the first teaser trailer of upcoming 3D animation "The Nut Job". The video gives a sneak peek at Surly, voiced by the "Jonah Hex" actor, as he is preparing to stock up for the winter by assembling a crew to help him rob a nut store in town.

"No Nuts, No Glory," so it says. Follow the mischievous little animal's hilarious adventure in the fictional Oakton with his rat friend Buddy as he plans a heist of outrageous proportions. With the villainous Raccoon (Liam Neeson) standing in the way, this won't be an easy job.

The family-friendly pic is directed by CGI veteran Peter Lepeniotis, based on his 2005 short animated film "Surly Squirrel". It is due to draw laughs in theaters on January 17, 2014 with Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fraser, Stephen Lang and Maya Rudolph among the voice cast.
