Justin Timberlake on Possibility of Playing Robin to Ben Affleck's Batman: 'Not a Chance in Hell'
Movie

While he voices interest in tackling a villain role in 'Man of Steel' sequel, JT is reported entering talks to produce 'The Idolmaker' remake for MGM.

AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake appears to have no slight interest in teaming up for the second time with Ben Affleck in the Superman-Batman movie as his sidekick. The singer and actor, who stars alongside the new Bruce Wayne depicter in "Runner, Runner", explains why it is so in an interview with Fresh 102.7 (via Comic Book).

Asked if he wants to portray Robin, JT answers, "Not a chance in hell. I ain't playin' Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie. I just don't." But the former NSYNC member reveals there is one Batman-related role that he absolutely says yes to if offered by Warner Bros.

"Now VILLAIN! I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain," the "In Time" leading man admits. "He was proper crazy. So if I'm gonna play crazy, I wanna play like proper crazy. I'm ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call."

While it is not sure whether or not Warner Bros. will grant his wish, The Wrap learns that Timberlake is now in talks to serve as producer in MGM's remake of "The Idolmaker", which was based on the life of rock promoter/producer Bob Marcucci, who discovered teen idols Frankie Avalon and Fabian among others.

Ryan Gosling, at one point, was secured to star and become a first-time director in the project. However, due to conflicting schedule, he dropped out three weeks later.
