Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have been tapped to host the 47th Annual CMA Awards for the sixth consecutive time. The two made the announcement during "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" which aired on ABC Monday night, August 12.

"Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts," says Ed Hardy, President of the CMA Board of Directors. "They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year."

Paisley and Underwood first hosted the CMA Awards in 2008. Both superstars have also won multiple prizes from the show, with the former collecting 14 CMA Awards and the latter receiving 5.

Nominees for this year's CMA Awards will be announced in September. The grand ceremony itself will take place on Wednesday, November 6 and air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on ABC.
