Movie

The sneak peek at the Abscam movie from David O. Russell also gives a look at Jennifer Lawrence and Jeremy Renner in their vintage looks.

Teaser from "American Hustle" has been unveiled when David O. Russell stopped by "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, July 31, to promote his latest directing gig, which is based on a true story of an FBI's 1980 undercover sting operation called Abscam. He assured people that they "can expect a wild world of amazing characters," as cited by NY Daily News.

With such starry names as Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner supporting the film, it's no doubt that there will indeed be many rooms for fans to see their favorite actors behave very wildly. As previewed in the trailer, some of them party hard, drink and, of course, get into trouble.

Previously named "American Bullshit", the story follows a con artist and his partner in crime, who are forced to work with a federal agent to turn the tables on other cons, mobsters, and politicians - namely, the volatile mayor of impoverished Camden, New Jersey.

The star-studded cast ensemble also includes Oscar-winning Robert De Niro, Louis C.K. whose strong performance in "Blue Jasmine" has been praised by the film's director Woody Allen, and Michael Pena among others.

"American Hustle" is slated for a Christmas Day release.
