The rock band's founding member is in jail for allegedly destroying his neighbor's patio with a buzz saw.

AceShowbiz - For allegedly destroying his neighbor's property with a buzz saw, Puddle of Mudd lead vocalist Wes Sanctlin has been arrested for vandalism and is now in jail in Los Angeles. The 41-year-old band member was taken in by police on the scene and was charged with felony vandalism.

Scantlin's buzz saw-wielding moment came apparently after a long-standing feud with his neighbor until the rocker could not contain it anymore and wrecked havoc on his victim's patio. He reportedly also hit the neighbor's cinder block wall with a sledgehammer, but luckily the altercation did not reach a point that would endanger the life of the neighbor, as no other charges besides vandalism had been reported.

This most recent act of rage is the latest entry in Scantlin's record that is already preceded over the years by a domestic violence arrest with his then actress fiance Michelle Ruben, a disorderly conduct while intoxicated arrest during a 2004 show in Ohio, and a swimming in an off limits pool misdemeanor in 2007. In recent years, he was arrested for felony cocaine possession with a misdemeanor of driving without a license as well as new charges of public intoxication and domestic violence on his ex-wife.

When he's not getting into trouble and committing offenses, Scantlin writes songs and plays for his band and sometimes tours with Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell to play acoustic guitar.
