The rapstress appears towards the end of Breezy's three-song performance to start the annual awards.

AceShowbiz - On Sunday night's 2013 BET Awards, Chris Brown showed everyone that not even his legal woes compounded by a new hit-and-run charge could stop him from promoting his forthcoming album "X". Breezy kicked off the performances at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles with songs from his new album set to arrive on July 16.

The choice for which songs to perform was a no-brainer, with Brown starting with the hit "Fine China". Unlike his previous "hoarse" performance of the Chinese-inspired track at the Billboard Music Awards back in May, Brown's vocals were on point for the Saturday 30 BET Awards, with his back-up dancers flashing neon "X" marks on their sweatshirts.

He then followed it up with his latest single "Don't Think They Know" that samples Aaliyah's vocals, the wide screen set-up behind him setting the mood for the slow track by showing images of lit candles and the late R'n'B singer. Finally, Breezy kicked the energy back up for the yet unreleased "Love More", highlighted by the appearance of track collaborator Nicki Minaj descending from the ceiling.

Despite his latest troubles, Breezy proved he was unstoppable that night, that not even the impending presence in the same building of Drake, whom he had previously gotten involved in an altercation with, will make him fold. Turned out it was the Toronto rapper who decided to skip the awards to avoid any chance of their feud flaring up again, even if he was this year's leading nominee with 12 nods.
