What secret that Melissa has been keeping? The Liars are eager to find out the answer, which may be revealed in the next episode of "Pretty Little Liars", when Spencer lays a trap for Melissa after being urged to do so by Emily, who believes that Melissa is "A".
Meanwhile, Emily panics when her parents come under undue scrutiny due to "A's" manipulations, and Hanna is determined to protect her mother. Hanna bristles when Caleb tries to help her through this latest crisis, and tries to shift the focus of the police investigation.
Aria goes searching for something among a bunch of masks, and has an uncomfortable encounter while out with Jake. Toby finds a new source of information into his mother's death, but it only leads to more questions.
While continuing their own investigation, the girls are being followed by Lt. Tanner, who is now joined by his partner, Lt. Tanner. The cops are intensifying their investigation into the Liars and their possible connection to Wilden's death.
