The Irish actor reportedly has agreed to reprise his role as retired U.S. spy Bryan Mills in the next installment.

Liam Neeson is reportedly up for another dangerous mission as retired CIA operative Bryan Mills. Deadline, which broke the news first, learns that the Oscar-nominated actor has closed a $20 million deal to return to "Taken 3". The sequel is currently under development as Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, who penned the previous installments, are already working on its script.
Up to now, there is still no word on whether Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen have been reached or not just like Neeson. "Malice in Wonderland" star Grace has appeared in the first two movies as the on-screen daughter of Neeson and Janssen, who's known for her portrayal of Jean Grey in "X-Men" film series. No director is currently attached to it as well.
"Taken" is deemed a turning point in Neeson's career for redefining the father of two as an A-list action flick star. When released on January 30, 2009, the Pierre Morel-directed pic scored the best opening day ever for Super Bowl weekend with $9.4 million. Its follow-up, "Taken 2", even did better by taking in $18.4 million in its first week last year.
Neeson has just wrapped up animated feature "Khumba", which is also supported by AnnaSophia Robb and Steve Buscemi. He also takes part in highly-anticipated "Anchorman: The Legend Continues", due out on December 20.
