'Anger Management' Seeks for New Sexy Psychiatrist
TV

The new character, who is described as tough and neurotic, will join Charlie to co-author sex study research.

"Anger Management" has begun its search for a new leading lady following Selma Blair's departure. Through a casting call, it's revealed that the show is looking for a "gorgeous" and "sexy" actress to play "the new doctor."

The actress is prefereable Latina or Caucasian in her 30s or 40s. She will play "by-the-book psychiatrist" who joins Charlie Sheen's Charlie to co-author the sex study research he and Kate (Blair) were working on before she left.

The description further reads, "If Charlie and Kate were like Sam and Diane on Cheers, then you are Rebecca. Tough, career driven, neurotic and you wear your heart on your sleeve. And you hate yourself for eventually becoming attracted to Charlie."

Whoever nabs the role will first book a mutiple-episode guest starring arc, but may continue appearing as a series regular.

Blair's dismissal was prompted by her feud with lead actor Sheen. She reportedly upset him as she complained to the show's executives about his poor work ethic. The actor, though he didn't officially have the authority to fire anyone on the show, was said firing Blair through a profane text message.

Sheen was also reported trying to bring in Mila Kunis for a multi-episode arc. The "Ted" actress is currently dating Ashton Kutcher, who has replaced Sheen on "Two and a Half Men".
