'I Give It a Year' Trailer: Marriage Is No Fairytale

The rom-com from Dan Mazer introduces Anna Faris as one of distractions that newlyweds Rafe Spall and Rose Byrne have to deal with.

AceShowbiz - British romantic comedy "I Give It a Year" has recently debuted a special trailer for U.S. audience. Featuring Rafe Spall ("Life of Pi") and Rose Byrne" ("X-Men: First Class") as newly-married couple, the video sees them in a complicated situation as they later discover that having a perfect marriage life turns out to be a quite struggle.

After only seven months of knowing his wife, Spall's Josh realizes he still has feelings for his old flame Chloe (Anna Faris). Meanwhile, Byrne's Nat encounters an attractive man (Simon Baker) that seemingly has everything she's actually looking for. With their marriage at stake, the only question left here is whether Josh and Nat can still fight for their love or not.

"Borat" and "Bruno" writer Dan Mazer directs and pens the Magnolia Pictures movie, which gives a look at the trials and tribulations of a newlywed couple during their first year of marriage. It is also supported by Minnie Driver (Nat's sister Naomi) and Stephen Merchant (Danny).

Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan and Kris Thykier serve as co-producers for the project, which was already released in the U.K. on February 8.

"I Give It a Year" is set for a limited release in the U.S. on August 9.
