Bryan Singer gives another first look at a mutant that will make an appearance in his much-anticipated flick "X-Men: Days of Future Past". This time, Singer releases an official photo featuring Michael Fassbender in his full costume as iconic villain Magneto. The German-Irish actor is seen rising during the filming.

Previously, fans could get to see a glimpse of Fassbender on site through an amateur photo (via Lainey Gossip) that surfaced online. The pic saw him walking side by side with co-star James McAvoy as young Charles Xavier. Both actors were photographed wearing retro clothes to match the vintage period set for the film.

"Days of Future Past" will be based on Uncanny X-Men #141 and 142 back in 1981 during Chris Claremont and John Byrne's run. The story introduced the idea of an alternate future for the Marvel mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.

So far, fans have recently been given teaser images featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and an unidentified actor as President Nixon.

Also starring Hugh Jackman and Ellen Page, "Days of Future Past" will be released on July 18, 2014 in the United States.
