A source close to the 'Fine China' singer says that the singer provides correct information to the other driver who was involved in a minor fender bender with him.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown apparently is not facing a jail time in the near future. Contrary to previous report that Rihanna's ex-boyfriend didn't give his driver license number and correct insurance info, a source told TMZ that the "Don't Wake Me Up" hitmaker did otherwise.

According to the source, Brown gave the woman who was involved in a minor fender bender with him last week the info needed to take care of the matters. However, the woman hung up the phone when Brown's lawyer tried to contact her. In addition, a picture of the woman's car which was taken at the scene of the accident showed that there was no apparent damage. So far, LAPD has not contacted Brown to investigate the matters.

Brown rear-ended a black Mercedes when he was driving around Los Angeles with his on-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran last week. After the incident, he stepped out of his Range Rover to talk with the other driver. In some pictures which were obtained by X17Online, Tran was seen taking pictures of the Mercedes. The police reportedly were not called in the accident.

Later, rumors flew around saying that authorities were investigating the case after the 26-year-old singer refused to give his driver license number and provided incorrect insurance information. If the accusations are true, the Grammy-winning singer may face jail time because he is still in probation in regards to an assault case in which Rihanna became victim.
