The host of the NBC reality singing series says he's excited to have the 'Ain't No Other Man' singer 'come back into the fold.'

AceShowbiz - NBC may have not announced the judge line-up of "The Voice" season 5, but it has become clear that Christina Aguilera will return to the show. It's the show's own host Carson Daly who confirms report that the R&B diva will be back as a coach in the upcoming edition of the competition series.

"We're all excited," Daly tells E! News about Aguilera's return. "She helped launch the show, and like we've said with all of our coaches, this isn't their day jobs. They're not celebrity judges, they are real artists and they have to tour and it's great to have her come back into the fold."

Realizing that the coaches are big stars who have busy schedules outside their "The Voice" gig, Daly knows that there could be shakeups in the panel over time. "There's a lot of moving parts, a lot of scheduling as you can imagine. The way this show shoots in a calendar, if you and I sat down and I laid it all out, you'd have to make decisions pretty early that take effect sometimes four or five or six months later," he shares.

"With these people's busy schedules, we make decisions. Plus, we're on twice a year now. The show's doing well, we think we'll be here for a while, so hopefully there will be a bunch of big name artists that might have a red chair in the future!"

Current coach Shakira recently confirmed that she's not returning to season 5. "I have to get back to my baby - give him some love and dedicate some time to him and also to my new album that I'm working on," she reasoned.

To E! News, the Colombian singer admits, "It was a hard decision for me to make, because I'm really fond of the coaches, the people in production and everybody around me."

Usher's future on the show, however, remains to be seen. Asked about the matter, Daly coyly says, "I don't know. He might be back, he might not, He might be back now. He might be back later, but he's been an incredible addition to the show. I hope he comes back, if not now, soon!"
