AceShowbiz - Robert Downey Jr. knows how to grab attention when it comes to red carpet fashion. When promoting his new film "Iron Man 3" in Munich, Germany on Friday, April 12, the 48-year-old actor surprised fans and journalists with his clothing style. The Tony Stark depicter showed up wearing traditional German lederhosen which became an amusing sight for everyone there.

The actor combined the below-the-knee breeches with a khaki blazer, button-down shirt and green kerchief tied around his neck. He completed the eccentric look with his flashy green socks. Meanwhile, co-star Gwyneth Paltrow went for elegant look, wearing a white Kaufmanfranco dress for the photocall, held at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof.

The two stars are on a world tour to promote the third installment of the armored superhero film franchise. They previously went to Russia, Korea and China. The last two destinations left memories for Downey. He caused a big sensation when he walked the Korea red carpet with his fly unzipped.
