Kim Kardashian and her famous siblings including Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian file a lawsuit against their late father's widow, Ellen Pearson. The siblings declare legal war against their stepmom over the diaries and photo albums left by their dad.

According to the Kardashians, the items belong to them because, in their father's will, they were given the rights to "bulk of his personal tangible and intangible property," including "personal effects," "books," "works on paper," "rights in literary properties, rights in works of art copyrights, publishing rights, and rights to a deceased personality's name, voice, signature, photograph, or likeness."

Ellen is accused of holding onto the diaries and photos "with the express intent to one-day capitalize and exploit the valuable property and celebrity of the famous Robert Kardashian." She is claimed to carry out a "despicable and unlawful scheme to hold in secret and convert, and now exploit private personal and copyright protected" material.

Kardashian's lawyer, Marty Singer, told Gossip Cop, "The Kardashians and Kris Jenner have filed a suit against Ellen Pearson for taking personal property belonging to them by virtue of Robert Kardashian's will and by virtue of copyright protection. The filing should serve as notice that they will vigorously defend their rights when forced to do so."

The plaintiffs are seeking "at least $500,000 in damages, plus more in profits, statutory damages, punitive and exemplary damages."

Robert Kardashian married Ellen two months before his death in 2003. In the past recent months, the widow has made some shocking allegations against Kris Jenner, claiming the mother was violent against her children and locked her son Rob Kardashian in a car while she was on a date. Ellen also alleged that Khloe was not Robert's daughter, which was vehemently denied by the family.
