Can't wait to get divorced from Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian can now feel a bit relief as her divorce case is finally set to proceed to trial. E! News reports that judge Stephen Moloney has finally set the trial date on May 6 and it is expected to last for five days.

Moloney's decision automatically put the kibosh on Humphries' attempt to delay the divorce proceedings due to "uncooperative third parties." The scheduled trial will be heard by judge Scott Gordon, who is experienced in handling celebrity divorce including the 2007 split between Britney Spears and then husband Kevin Federline.

It is said that Kardashian will have three witnesses to testify on her behalf. As for Humphries, he will have around three to five witnesses to speak for him.

Kardashian's lawyer Laura Wasser actually requested for an earlier trial date, but Humphries' camp argued that the NBA star's busy schedule as a basketball player would make it difficult for him to appear in court sooner.

Slamming Humphries' argument, Wasser said, "We are not asking for special treatments, and we believe arguments made by [Humphries'] side are without merit." She added, "Sometimes litigants had to miss a day or two of work."

Her long-gestating divorce case apart, Kardashian recently celebrated a sweet Valentine's Day with her boyfriend Kanye West, who is also the father of her unborn child. The high-profile couple spent the special February 14 evening in style as they were spotted dining at Lawry's Prime Rib Restaurant in Beverly Hills.

As if it's not fancy enough, Yeezy wrapped up the special evening by presenting a luxurious gift to his girlfriend. He gave the "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" star a glamorous Cartier bracelet with a panther-shaped diamond as an accent. The accessory is reportedly worth between $68,000 and $73,000.

Happy with the gift, Kardashian took to her Twitter to show off her new bracelet in a picture. "My new pet panther!" she wrote as a caption for the photo.
