Walt Disney Pictures unleashes a new U.K. trailer for "Monsters University". The freshly-released promo video boasts tons of new funny scenes that show craziness during Mike and Sulley's college years. Instead of showing them as BFFs as seen in "Monsters, Inc.", the trailer features the two creatures as rivals.
Mike is portrayed as a college geek with braces who seems to be serious about studying. He enthusiastically welcomes his first day in the university before he eventually meets his roommate Sulley. Totally Mike's opposite, Sulley is lazy and untidy. He also loves partying and does some other mad things. Pretty soon, crazy things happen as the two start building rivalry between them.
The prequel to the hit 2001 animation brings back Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan who are an inseparable pair, though that wasn't always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. This new film unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.
"Monsters University" will be released in the United States on June 21. Lining up in the voice cast ensemble are such actors as Steve Buscemi, Billy Crystal, John Goodman, John Ratzenberger, Frank Oz, Dave Foley and Joel Murray.
