Justin Bieber sets new record as the most viewed artist on YouTube thanks to his new video, 'Beauty and a Beat' featuring Nicki Minaj.

AceShowbiz - As if all his achievements were not enough, Justin Bieber scores another milestone by becoming YouTube's most viewed person. This comes with the release of his new music video "Beauty and a Beat". The Canadian teen pop sensation's YouTube channel surpassed 3 billion views on Wednesday, October 24 and fans are showing no signs of letting up.
Bieber, however, did not hit the record-breaking mark all by himself. Thanks to rapstress Nicki Minaj, who is also featured on the video, "Beauty and a Beat" has so far reached 44 million views on YouTube just in its first week alone. Following in the ranks of most viewed artists are Rihanna and Lady GaGa who are in the 2 billion range.
In just barely a year since becoming the first person to hit the 2 billion views count on YouTube, the 18-year old multi-awarded singer breaks his own record and is even close to becoming the most followed celebrity on Twitter. At present, Bieber has 29.3 million followers and trails behind Lady GaGa's 30.5 million.
"Beauty and a Beat" will be officially released on November 12, but is ready for download now on iTunes. The track is from Bieber's third studio album "Believe", which hit the music stores last June 15 and has topped both U.K. and U.S. charts, selling over a million copies in the U.S.
