Lindsay Lohan and her mom Dina believed it was Michael's personal interest that led to his decision to call an intervention for Lindsay. Dina in particular said that Michael was in desperate attempt to make himself relevant again in the eyes of the public by using their daughter.

Michael showed up at Lindsay's Los Angeles home on Friday, October 19 with personal trainer Josh Chunn, believing Lindsay has been surrounded by "a bunch of alcoholics and drug addicts." He was trying to get her into a rehab but failed to do so when the actress called cops on him.

"This sole act by my ex was not an intervention nor was this extreme antic sanctioned by any member of Lindsay's family or her professional team of handlers," Dina told TMZ, adding "It's all about her father obsessed with making a name for himself in the news once again. It's sad and I hope he stops masquerading as her father in public and starts acting like one in private."

Lindsay reportedly is pissed at Michael because she denied she was having a problem with drug or alcohol. She believed that he staged the so-called intervention because she has cut him off from her life after he recorded their conversation in the middle of her feud with Dina. Lindsay allegedly is now more than determined to shut him off completely.
