One of Hollywood's most enduring couples, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, has called it quits. Breaking up after a long time of marriage is not unheard of in Hollywood, but the news still comes as a shock since the pair seemed to live their marriage life for 30 years drama-free.
Danny and Rhea met in 1971 and got married in January 1982. They have two daughters, 29-year-old Lucy and 27-year-old Grace, as well as a son, 24-year-old Jacob. A representative, who confirmed the separation, didn't specify the reason why the longtime couple split.
When asked what made them fall for each other, Rhea, 64, once told PEOPLE that Danny "was a lot more fun and a lot more sexy" than other men she dated before. In return, the 67-year-old actor gushed about her, "She was vibrant, with a great sense of humor, and real warm."
After being together for 13 years, Rhea spilled the secret to their longtime relationship in an interview, "You'd really have to work hard at breaking us up at this point." During their marriage, they shared screen in some movies including classic sitcom "Taxi" and comedy movie "Matilda".
