Another promo for "The Walking Dead" season 3 has shared what the survivors will experience once they get into a prison they're heading to in last season finale. Looking cautious, Rick and his group hold flashlights while walking in dark corridors of the building, where a horde of zombies are lurking in a corner.

In addition to the said teaser, there is a promo video which is unleashed to remind viewers how gory the show can be. It features a quick glimpse at a walker attacking a man in the bushes and ripping open his body.

In the third season that will premiere Sunday, October 14 at 9 P.M. on AMC, Rick and his group will dwell in the prison, but they'll soon realize that it's not a safe haven. "It's a haunted house, it's scary, it's frightening, and there are parts of the prison that are always terrifying, that are always inaccessible to our group," showrunner Glen Mazzara has said.

Michonne (Danai Gurira) and The Governor (David Morrissey) are among new characters featured in the next chapter, while Daryl's brother Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) will return after he was left alone on an Atlanta rooftop in season 1. Mazzara once gushed that the horror series would be "a lot more suspenseful" and a "lot more intense than it was last year."
