The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce explains that the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star needs to get 'a real acting job' because they don't do reality TV stars.

Kim Kardashian won't get a Hollywood Walk of Fame star she has been dreaming of anytime soon. A representative for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which administers the Fame, says the reality TV star needs to have a real acting career to meet the requirements needed to become a candidate.

"Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars etc. in the category of Television, Live Stage Performance or Motion Pictures," the rep says as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. "They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more."

The representative concludes, "Can't really say if reality stars will ever be eligible. Not on our radar right now." Another spokesperson previously told Hollyscoop, "She has not been nominated. She is a reality star. We don't do reality stars. She needs to get a real acting job then come to us."

Kim revealed she set her eyes on the Walk of Fame when doing an interview with V magazine. "I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So, of course I'm so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold," she said.
