Bob Hoskins is retiring from acting world due to health-related issue. The 69-year-old actor, who plays blind dwarf Muir in Kristen Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman", was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease last fall, but hasn't issued an official statement about it until recently.
"He wishes to thank all the great and brilliant people he has worked with over the years, and all of his fans who have supported him during a wonderful career. Bob is now looking forward to his retirement with his family, and would greatly appreciate that his privacy be respected at this time," the statement reads.
The U.K.-born actor has two children from his first marriage to Jane Livesey. After getting divorced, he tied the knot with Linda Banwell and has two more kids with his second wife. He appeared in such critically-acclaimed movies as "The Long Good Friday", "Mona Lisa" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
