Arrest warrant was issued for Cuba Gooding Jr. after the actor was involved in an altercation with some bar patrons at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street, New Orleans. The 44-year-old actor was wanted by police for misdemeanor battery.

Cuba, who's in town to shoot his new movie "The Butler", reportedly was irritated by some patrons who recognized him and asked to take pictures with him. He allegedly launched expletive rants and shoved a female bartender when she tried to prevent a fight.

The Academy Award-winning star was said manhandling the bartender twice. He reportedly did it when she tried to calm him down and repeated it when she asked him to leave. One of her co-workers called 911, but he left the bar before police arrived.

A representative for Cuba hasn't made comment on the incident.
