Eric asks Bill what game he's playing, Salome says Lilith has chosen Bill for her, and Russell stops by a wolfpack meeting.

Eric still doesn't want to follow the new direction that the Vampire Authority takes in the next episode of "True Blood". As the Authority proceeds with Lilith's plan, Eric plots his escape and asks Bill what game he's playing.
Bill, however, says he's not playing a game since everything he believed has been turned upside down. Meanwhile, Salome claims Lilith has chosen Bill to be her partner to "birth a new world" together. A scene from a preview to the upcoming outing also features Bill hooking up with Sookie and biting her.
Elsewhere, Hoyt is in danger and Jess blames herself for what happens to him. Russell and Steve greet the new Pack Master, and Tara predicts there will be a blood bath as a vampire leads other bloodsuckers in Fangtasia to drink from humans.
As for Sookie's search for her parents' murderer, her Gran leads her to a clue. Andy and Jason search for leads to the identities of the people behind the shifter killings. Alcide recalls his pack induction, Arlene gets caught in Terry and Patrick's crossfire, and Steve gets a new pet.
"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" will air Sunday, August 8 at 9 P.M. on HBO.
