Days before it goes to Hall H of the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" unleashes a brand new poster. Being debuted on the film's official Facebook page, the one-sheet features a beautiful landscape of what seems to be the green valley in Hobbiton.

Instead of featuring its lead protagonist, Bilbo Baggins, the poster presents Gandalf the Grey. Donning his signature wizard robe and hat, the elderly wizard portrayed by Ian McKellen walks alone in the green terrain.

Along with the one-sheet, Jackson leaves a note for "Hobbit" fans, "Hi everyone. Here's an exclusive Comic Con poster. Be sure to get your copy in San Diego and let me know what you think of it! Cheers, Peter J ."

"The Hobbit" follows the adventure of Bilbo as he is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. Approached by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, the uncle of Frodo finds himself joining a company of dwarves led by Thorin Oakensheild. Martin Freeman stars as Bilbo, while Richard Armitage portrays Thorin Oakenshield.

Before arriving in cinemas nationwide on December 14, "The Hobbit" will go to Comic-Con's Hall H during a Warner Bros. Pictures panel at 2:30-5:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 14.
