Tyler Perry's peaceful life is interrupted by a maniac in the first trailer for "Alex Cross". In the action-packed video, Perry's titular detective must fight against a psychotic mob hitman named Michael "The Butcher" Sullivan, who has committed a series of gruesome murders.
Cross and The Butcher face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. However, when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits in this taut and exciting action thriller.
An adaptation best-selling novels by James Patterson, "Alex Cross" has Rob Cohen serving as the director. Starring as The Butcher is Matthew Fox, who is joined in the cast ensemble by Edward Burns, Jean Reno, Giancarlo Esposito and John C. McGinley.
Summit Entertainment will release the movie in the United States on October 19.
