Brad Pitt and fiancee Angelina Jolie are taking things one at a time. After announcing their engagement last month, the actor revealed that he and Jolie are not in rush to swap wedding vows. In fact, they have no date yet.
Before reporters at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, May 22, Pitt said, "We actually, really and truly, have no date. It's just something that makes sense to us, and certainly datewise, it's just a rumor." U.K. media reported that the couple will tie the knot on August 11 this year, the same date as Pitt's parents Bill and Jane's golden wedding anniversary.
Pitt said, "We're still hoping that we can figure out marriage equality in the states before that date." The Hollywood couple told Parade magazine in 2008 that they won't get married until any couple can legally get married in the States.
Pitt and Jolie, who met while starring in "Mr. & Mrs Smith", reportedly decided to get engaged for the sake of their six children.
