John Mayer hits the road in a music video for his newest single "Shadow Days". The "Your Body Is a Wonderland" hitmaker is followed by camera as he makes a stop at a diner and music store among other places during the road trip. He's also seen enjoying a sunset at the Grand Canyon.
"Shadow Days" is the first offering from Mayer's new album "Born and Raised", which is due in the United States on May 22. He was supposed to embark on a tour starting April 9 to support the upcoming effort, but was forced to scrap it due to his persistent throat condition.
"I have no choice but to take an indefinite break from live performing," he explained. "I'm pretty emotionally burnt out at the moment, but please know how hard I tried to resolve this and how disappointed I am that I can't perform this record yet."
