The 'What Makes You Beautiful' hitmakers decline the invitation from First Lady Michelle Obama, but 'they'd love to go another time.'

One Direction reportedly have got an invitation to perform live at the White House this coming weekend. Niall Horan and his bandmates, however, were forced to pass on the offer because they have already had a previously-scheduled commitment.

Rumor has it, the boys met First Lady Michelle Obama at the backstage of Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles over the weekend. The boyband were there to perform, while Mrs. Obama was on hand to present Big Help Award to Taylor Swift.

"She invited them to the White House for their annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday. It was such an honor," a source told The Sun. The guys couldn't go because they had to fly to Australia, but "they'd love to go another time," the source added.
